Even though
this buoy was quite severely damaged it is still floating
32 months after the
original collision.
WHY ?
The materials used in all DB buoys have been carefully researched the
different types of composite polyurethane foam fillings available, and
have standardised on a particular formulae that will not sink when
exposed to water. This special filling is standard in all of our data
buoy hulls
